A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to do a shoot for Julie Miller, owner of Jules Jewelry. She makes beautiful pearl and hand-stamped pieces for mothers and daughters, first communions and flower girls, as well as bridal jewelry (keep an eye out for that shoot later in the year!). My sister came up to help with the shoot and we had a great time! Julie set up a ‘tea party in a field’ at a private ranch and we brought in some models (Julie’s close friend, and two of my close friends!). The shoot lasted the whole morning, starting out in the field and moving into the ranch owner’s barn, but we never ran out of energy thanks to the on site catering Julie hired for us! I also had my sister bring up my wedding gown from my parent’s house, and took some photos of it (see below, one of my all time faves!)! I absolutely love the way the photos came out even though it was insanely COLD and overcast when the shoot started! Julie did a great job of staging the tea party with florals provided by Laura Cogan of Passion Flowers.
